This work highlights the struggle between my frustrations with moving to Hawaii, and the beauty that exists here. In the work they exist as one entity. One cannot be without the other. The cost and the benefit cannot be separated. As with much of my work I use humor. In this series I use it in a tongue and cheek manner to highlight how ridiculous some of my complaints sound to people at times. Its a debate I have internally and externally everyday.
